The prevalence of overweight and obesity among women in Uzbekistan is 31.7 %. There is an annual
increase in people with obesity. The facts of the negative impact of fat mass on the hormonal system
and, as a result, a decrease in fertility in women are not in doubt. The purpose of this study was to
evaluate the results of Metformin use in overweight and obese women of reproductive age. The
study included 45 women of reproductive age who could not reduce weight with diet therapy. All
patients were divided into three groups: group 1-planning pregnancy (n = 15), group 2 – having
abnormal weight gain after childbirth (n = 15), group 3 – having overweight and obesity not related
to pregnancy and childbirth (n = 15). Weight loss while taking Metformin increases fertility and
should be performed in obese women as pre-gravidar training.

Meniere's disease is a non-purulent disease of the inner ear, characterized by an increase in the
volume of endolymph. In addition, it is known that the onset of the disease in women often
coincides with periods of physiological or pathological decrease in the hormonal function of the
ovaries: the hemorrhagic phase of the menstrual cycle, menstrual irregularities accompanied by
hypoestrogenia. We studied 18 people, conducted audiometric, vestibulometric and electronhistagographic studies. Patients were treated during the period of remission for 2-3 menstrual cycles
in continuous monitoring in the form of dynamic hormonal studies excretion of sex steroids. Based
on the results of hormonal examination and treatment, it should be assumed that hormonal therapy
for women with Meniere's disease, which occurs against the background of ovarian hypofunction, is

Iron deficiency anemia (IDA) is a common disease of adults and children, which is characterized by a
decrease in the content of hemoglobin and erythrocytes per unit volume of blood due to deficiency

Scientific work was carried out on the basis of the Tashkent Medical Academy, Department of
Surgery (1st city hospital), and Andijan Medical Institute, Department of Oncology from 2015-2020.
Clinical material includes 175 patients. The comparison group consisted of 100 patients who were
treated in various hospitals in Tashkent and regions of Uzbekistan. According to the classification of
vascular anomalies, the majority of patients with benign vascular tumors (DBT) were diagnosed with
infantile hemangioma (IG) - 82.0%, congenital hemangioma (VH) - 11.4%, pyogenic granuloma (PG) -
5.8%. Average age of patients: children - 1.2 ± 0.4, adults - 27 ± 1.2 years. The frequency of DSO in girls
was 78%, in boys - 22%. Localization area: lip - 57.6%, cheek 8%, tongue 26.3%. Complications of DSO:
anatomical disorders, edema, bleeding, pain, infection, respiratory disorders occurred in 83.7% of
patients.

becomes more and more urgent and very important to study them in more detail.

The paper presents an analysis of a study of children with the consequence of secondary
encephalitis, depending on the onset of the acute period of which more than 6 months - a year have
passed, the degree of neurological disorders, neuroimaging comparison and prediction depending
on these indicators for timely neurometabolic therapy are studied. The aim of our study was to study
a comprehensive prognosis of the consequences of secondary encephalitis in children. There were
58 children under our supervision, with the consequence of the transferred encephalitis. The total
number of girls is 37%, boys are 63% of the main group of patients, the control group of children are
healthy identical in age 3-10 years. All children admitted to the hospital underwent a standard
examination, anamnesis, clinical neurological examination, and neuroimaging (MRI, CT) studies.
In addition, somatosensory evoked potential was determined for all children on electromyography,
including at admission and also at discharge. The results of our study revealed that 66.2% gives
predictions only for clinical and neurological disorders, with the addition of neuroimaging
assessments it increased to 79%, and meningeal-somatosensory indicators still increase the prognosis
by 12%, which is very important for timely neurometabolic therapy. In turn, the prognosis of the
outcome of encephalitis in children will make it possible to promptly reduce residual neurological
manifestations.

The imbalance in placenta- originated angiogenic factors has been found to play an important role in
the pathogenesis of preeclampsia in recent years. Soluble fms- like tyrosine kinase 1 (sFlt-1) and
placental growth factor (PIGF) are the most studied proteins. sFlt-1, a splice variant of the vascular
endothelial growth factor (VEGF) receptor Flt-1, is a circulating antiangiogenic protein that inhibits
proangiogenic factors—VEGF and PIGF signalling in the vasculature. High levels of circulating sFlt-1 and
low levels of PIGF were observed in women with established preeclampsia and even before the onset
of clinical symptoms [1,6,9,11]

A new method of treatment for atrophic rhinitis with phonophoresis was used in 25 patients. The
treatment was carried out with an ultrasound device UTP-1 with a modified emitter (head size - 1
cm2). The area of the back and the slopes of the external nose, previously lubricated with vaseline
oil, was subjected to sonication, while the preparation Olyfrin was injected into the nose. Ultrasound
with an intensity of 0,15-0,2 W/cm 2 was used in a continuous mode. The duration of exposure is 5
minutes. The procedures were carried out every other day. The course is 10-15 procedures. A directly
positive effect was observed in all patients; in 8 patients all symptoms of the disease disappeared, in
12 patients the most painful symptoms (difficulty in nasal breathing, crusts formation), in 5 patients a
weakening of symptoms was observed. In 15 patients, only ultrasound and the introduction of
tampons with olive oil into the nasal cavity were used.
Disappearance of symptoms of the disease was noted in 5 patients, in 10 patients dryness in the nose
did not disappear. The results of the treatment were followed up in terms of 3 to 6 months.
Recurrence of the disease with a significant weakening of symptoms was observed in 5 patients who
received ultrasound and in 3 patients treated with phonophoresis.

The study was conducted to assess the dental state of the oral cavity in children and adolescents with
dentoalveolar anomalies against the background of bronchial asthma. A comprehensive
epidemiological survey was carried out in 225 children and adolescents, divided into two groups. The
main group of 180 included patients with dentoalveolar anomalies and deformities suffering from
bronchial asthma, and the Control group of 45 patients without somatic pathology. Both groups were
divided into age categories 6-9 years old, 10-13 years old and 14-18 years old. In the course of clinical
research, the state of the hard tissues of the tooth, periodontal tissues and oral mucosa, as well as the
frequency of dentoalveolar anomalies and deformities, the level of oral hygiene were studied.
