Abstract

In recent decades, the increase in average or serious food insecurity has been the most marked particularly in sub -Saharan Africa. Food security in tropical Africa is vulnerable and above all threatened by many factors in this case natural disasters linked to the climate, such as floods and droughts, and those humans relating to the predatory activities of non -state armed groups (Game). All these disasters generate hunger, in particular by provoking the movements of populations (including farmers, traders, craftsmen ...) who bring the community into poverty. This prevents agricultural production, the destruction of assets as well as food stocks. This also disrupts markets with prices increase and harm the livelihoods. There are many Africans whose capacity for access to sufficient food, safe and capable of providing for their nutrients in all circumstances happen to be threatened every day. This analysis has been fundamentally focused on the food situation of displaced populations victims of the conflicts of the Far North Cameroon in general and those of the Mora district who have suffered from the impacts of territorial insecurity since 2013. This socio-political context linked to territorial insecurity, thus provoking the displacements of populations in the interior of Cameroon inevitably leading to an increase in the population in certain localities. These movements had a direct consequence on food and nutritional security on them. This quickly led to the exhaustion of food stocks and increased their vulnerabilities. The aim of this reflection is first to describe the local impacts of this territorial crisis on the situation of food security in this vulnerable region; Then analyze the support strategies implemented; and finally determine the role of institutions, organizations and local actors in order to face this delicate situation.
