The article describes the essence of the concept of "people's diplomacy", the definitions of
the concept by foreign and domestic scholars, the analysis of approaches and its
differences from state diplomacy. The role of "people's diplomacy" in maintaining peace in
the world, developing interstate relations and establishing friendly relations between
different peoples was also discussed.
