Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) presents diverse educational challenges stemming from its core characteristics in social communication, interaction, and repetitive behaviors. This article explores the efficacy of digital pedagogical resources as assistive technologies for children with ASD. Through a qualitative review of existing literature and an examination of a specific case study (Squizzy application), it investigates various forms of educational software, including mobile applications, augmented reality (AR) tools, and AI-powered robotics, and their applications in enhancing social skills, communication, and academic outcomes. The findings highlight the significant benefits of these technologies in providing individualized, visually-driven, and engaging learning experiences that can supplement traditional therapeutic approaches. The discussion also addresses critical considerations such as the quality and suitability of available software, the complex issue of generalizing learned skills to real-world contexts, prevailing issues of access and equity, and the indispensable role of human intervention and supervision. The article concludes that while these digital tools hold immense potential to foster development and inclusion for children with ASD, their effective and responsible implementation requires careful selection, thoughtful integration into broader intervention strategies, and ongoing research to maximize their long-term impact and address current limitations.

The main purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of emotional abuse on the building of resilience among internally displaced adults in the Fako Division of the South West Region of Cameroon. Aim at answering the question what extent does emotional abuse affect the building of resilience among internally displaced adults in the South West Region of Cameroon? The cross-sectional survey research design was chosen for the study. The population of this study was made up of all displaced adults in Fako Division (about 90.000 OCHA, 2021). The target population of this study was made up of all traumatized displaced adults in the Fako Division. The accessible population in this study consisted of 158 Traumatized and non- resilient adults in Fako Division of the southwest region of Cameroon selecting them from Buea, Tiko and Limbe Sub divisions. The sample size consists of 158 displaced young adults selected from six communities. The purposive sampling technique was adopted for this study for both the area selected for the study and the participants. The research instrument used for data collection in this study was the questionnaire and interview guide. Data from the questionnaires was analysed using SPSS 23.0, with the aid of descriptive and inferential statistical tools while the interview was analysed thematically. The Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient was used to test the lone research hypotheses formulated in the study.The findings of this study underscore that majority 79.1% of the respondents agreed to the fact that emotional abuse affect the building of resilience among internally displaced adults in the South West Region of Cameroon while 20.9% respondents disagreed. The findings further reveal that the Spearman Rho correlation coefficient (Rs = 0.626, P=0.05) indicates that there is a positive correlation between psychological and the building of resilience among internally displaced adults in the South West Region of Cameroon.  Hence the null hypothesis is rejected and the alternate hypothesis is accepted which states that emotional abuse has a significant effect on the building of resilience among internally displaced adults in the South West Region of Cameroon. Based on the findings of this study, it is recommended that comprehensive mental health support programs be implemented for internally displaced adults in the South West Region of Cameroon.

The article presents an analysis of public–private partnership (PPP) models as an instrument of industrialization in the context of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). The study is based on an interdisciplinary approach combining institutional economics, comparative analysis of macroeconomic forecasts and empirical data, and analytical reconstruction of PPP practices. Particular attention is given to comparing the results of computable general equilibrium models with actual data from East and South African countries. It is established that the key constraints are logistical barriers, fragmentation of energy markets, and institutional heterogeneity of national economies. The study shows that public–private partnerships ensure the mobilization of private capital, compensation for limited public resources, and the development of infrastructure and industrial projects. The strategic role of technological and financial mechanisms, such as additive manufacturing and green finance, is highlighted as they provide the foundation for sustainable growth and risk reduction. Comparative analysis confirmed that the effectiveness of PPPs is determined by a combination of institutional harmonization, infrastructure modernization, and the integration of innovative practices. The paper proposes a conceptual framework for improving the effectiveness of PPPs within AfCFTA, including the development of unified partnership models, the adaptation of financing mechanisms, and the use of technological drivers of industrialization. The article will be useful for researchers in international economics, regional integration specialists, experts in infrastructure development, and policymakers developing industrialization strategies in Africa.
