Academic disparities remain one of the most persistent challenges affecting the quality and equity of secondary education across diverse educational contexts. Differences in students' socioeconomic status, cultural background, language proficiency, disability, gender, and learning opportunities contribute significantly to unequal academic achievement and participation. Teachers occupy a central position in addressing these disparities because their instructional practices, classroom management strategies, assessment approaches, and interpersonal relationships directly influence students' educational experiences. Contemporary educational research increasingly emphasizes that evidence-based teaching interventions, culturally responsive pedagogy, psychologically safe learning environments, and inclusive instructional frameworks are essential for reducing educational inequities and improving learning outcomes. However, many existing intervention models focus on isolated instructional practices rather than integrating multiple evidence-based dimensions into a comprehensive teacher-centered framework.

This research and review article proposes an evidence-based teacher intervention model designed to reduce academic disparities while promoting inclusive learning outcomes among secondary school students. The study synthesizes findings from existing literature on culturally responsive teaching, multicultural education, teacher self-efficacy, formative assessment, psychological safety, student engagement, disability inclusion, and educational equity. A conceptual intervention framework is developed by integrating instructional planning, differentiated pedagogy, culturally responsive classroom management, continuous assessment, collaborative feedback mechanisms, and professional teacher development. The proposed model emphasizes systematic implementation supported by reflective practice and continuous monitoring.

The review demonstrates that inclusive teacher interventions improve student participation, increase engagement, strengthen academic motivation, reduce achievement gaps, and foster equitable classroom environments. Furthermore, the model identifies institutional support, teacher competency development, and evidence-informed decision-making as critical enabling factors for sustainable implementation. The article contributes a comprehensive conceptual framework that may guide educators, policymakers, and researchers in designing effective intervention strategies for equitable secondary education.
