The Role of An Editorial Monitoring System in Countering Information Attacks in Online Publications: A Case Study of The Talimxabarlari.Uz Online Publication
Abstract
The article proposes that countering information attacks in online publications should not be limited to the subsequent refutation of false reports, but should also be approached as a monitoring mechanism aimed at identifying information risks in editorial activity in advance. The results show that the monitoring system is not a tool that directly detects an information attack itself, but a preventive mechanism that systematically records structural vulnerabilities through which a newsroom may amplify disinformation.
