Abstract

The integration of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) into precision agriculture has transformed agrochemical application by improving operational efficiency, reducing labor requirements, and enhancing spray precision. Traditional spraying systems often suffer from uneven coverage, excessive chemical consumption, environmental contamination, and limited accessibility in complex agricultural terrains. This study proposes an advanced framework for efficient agrochemical delivery using UAV-based spraying technologies within precision farming systems. The framework integrates flight planning, droplet atomization control, spray drift mitigation, real-time monitoring, and application optimization. A comprehensive review and synthesis of existing studies are conducted to evaluate technological developments, operational effectiveness, and performance limitations of UAV spraying platforms. The proposed framework emphasizes precision targeting, adaptive spray management, and environmental sustainability. Findings indicate that UAV-enabled agrochemical delivery significantly improves deposition efficiency, reduces off-target drift, and enhances operational productivity compared with conventional spraying methods. The study contributes a structured model for future UAV deployment strategies while identifying key technological and regulatory challenges affecting large-scale adoption.
